Thrilled to have received two awards last night in the GCDC awards. One silver and one bronze in the senior chasing category for 3D Craft 🔨

My two entries ‘Rembrandt Tulip’ Vase and ‘A Tale of Four Kingdoms’ Centrepiece will be on show amongst the award winning pieces at Goldsmiths Hall in London until the 7th March, so catch it whilst it’s there ✨

Congrats to everyone who won an award! It was a fabulous evening 🤩

I made this forged spoon for a baby spoon commission. The chased handle illustrates a hare in fields with a flower meadow and the sun in the background. A really enjoyable piece to make!

I’m over the moon with how our ‘New Traditions’ exhibition turned out! Myself, @scottsmith.design and @hannahkeddiedesign came together as part of @marchmontsilversmiths and transformed the wonderful @coburghouse exhibition space into an insight into contemporary silversmithing. We showcased the tools, techniques and sketches alongside the finished pieces, offering a window into the processes and thinking behind our work. ‘New Traditions’ highlights how we merge traditional silversmithing processes with contemporary silver design, and each exploring what this means to us and the direction we want to take our work.

This exhibition wouldn’t have been possible without the support of so many along the way! So a massive thanks to @hugoburgefoundation and @isleofharrisdistillers who sponsored our exhibition. Our three wonderful speakers at the PV @r.l.christie_works_of_art, @francesprieststudio and @annagordonjewellery. And to @samcooperdesigns of @themarchmontworkshop who made all our plinths, was our photographer, and general helping hand with @rosslawrencexx. As well as everyone who was able to come by and see the exhibition!

We received fantastic feedback with quite a few visitors suggesting it should be a travelling exhibition so who knows, let’s see what we plan next ✨
